Officiant Services

Ceremonies and vows

Yes. As ordained ministers, Tom and Carolyn travel up to 30 miles to perform a personalized ceremony wherever you're getting married. If you already have a place you love, we'll come to you.
We can often still help. A small mileage fee applies beyond 30 miles. Reach out and we'll talk it through.
Yes. Tom and Carolyn are both seminary-trained, ordained ministers. Every ceremony is legally complete, and we sign and file your marriage license for you.
Yes. Religious, secular, blended, or still figuring it out. We build the ceremony around you, not the other way around.
Absolutely. We'll hand you a guide with a dozen different ways to approach it. Some couples come with vows already written. Some want help. Some would rather we handle the words entirely. All of it is fine.
It's an optional moment in the ceremony, like handfasting, a unity candle, or a sand ceremony. It's included with our Diamond package and available as an add-on otherwise. Entirely up to you.
We do. Same approach as a wedding ceremony, written around your years together rather than your beginning. Reach out and we'll talk about what you have in mind.
The Chapel in the Woods

The venue

We're at 365 Twin Hill Dr in Lehighton, PA, in the Pocono Mountains of Carbon County. It's an easy drive from the Lehigh Valley, New Jersey, and the greater Philadelphia area.
Up to twenty-five. The chapel is built for intimate weddings, elopements, and micro-weddings. Small on purpose.
Your rental includes the open-air Chapel in the Woods, the Bridal Suite, the Groom's Gazebo, the ceremony aisle, and access to the property's spaces. There are also inclement-weather backups so rain doesn't end the day.
The chapel is open-air, set among the trees. It's a real woodland ceremony space, not a barn or a ballroom. We have covered backups for weather.
We have weather backups on the property, so your ceremony still happens. We'll talk through the plan with you ahead of time so nobody's guessing on the day.
Yes. The open field and its arch are available for couples who want their vows in the open with the long mountain view. Some couples use it for photos, some for the ceremony itself.

Yes, a deposit holds your date. We'll walk you through the details when you book.
Sooner is better, especially for popular dates. But because we do a small number of weddings a year, it's always worth asking even on shorter notice.
Planning & The Day

Getting ready

We offer premarital support and planning conversations, and we work closely with each couple. We're not a full planning service, but we'll help you feel ready for the day.
Timing depends on your package. We'll confirm the details with you when you book so you know exactly what you have.
